Since January 2020, the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering (UL FGG)has been a member of the Open Geospatial Consortium OGC®.
OGC is a worldwide community committed to advancing geospatial location information and services with its roots in 1994. It fosters and supports a global conversation to create free and publicly available geospatial standards that keep pace with emerging technology trends. As a network of more than 500 businesses, government agencies, research organisations and universities, OGC is driven to make location information and services findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable. OGC’s programmes are designed to ensure alignment with emerging technology trends in support of interoperability challenges in the geospatial domain.
