CEEPUS – Central European Exchange Program for University Studies

Education and training in tertiary education in Central and Eastern Europe

The program was launched in March 1995. The program aims to establish and promote the mobility of students and teachers between participating countries and to leverage partnership links to create joint study programs. The emphasis is on joint doctoral programs and promoting cooperation within the framework of the EUSDR (European Union Strategy for the Danube Region).

Higher education institutions from the following countries participate in the CEEPUS program: Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Montenegro, Croatia, Kosovo, Hungary, North Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia.

CEEPUS operates through networks that facilitate international mobility for students and teachers and fosters collaborative international projects. This exchange promotes the transfer of knowledge and best practices, enhances intercultural competencies, and supports the creation of joint professional and scientific articles. Additionally, it enables the publication of collaborative works at both national and international levels, and it supports the organization of summer and winter schools.

There is one network established at UL FGG – PLANNED – Spatial PLANNing EDucation Network, whose main coordinator is UL FGG. The primary activity of the network is the implementation of joint initiatives, including summer schools and study workshops.
