Description:

Salimbene Ornella is an environmental engineer with a PhD in Urban and regional Development, she is a Maria Curie Skłodowska researcher at UL-FGG within the European program MSCA COFUND EUTOPIA-SIF. Her international project PA-MAP (Participatory Approach for the Monitoring of Air Pollution in urban environments) has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 945380. PA-MAP involves several European cities and focuses on a participatory approach for collecting environmental and social data, potentially strategic to improve urban air quality management plans. PA-MAP involves citizens, students and children and promotes their active role in achieving the sustainability objectives set by the UN 2030 agenda.
