The summer school consists of two short courses:
- Short Course on Methods of risk analysis and resilience estimation (26th-2nd July 2019)
- Short Course on Introduction to High-performance computing and data science (3rd-4th July 2019)
The event is a part of the project EXTREME LOADING ANALYSIS OF PETROCHEMICAL PLANTS AND DESIGN OF METAMATERIAL-BASED SHIELDS FOR ENHANCED RESILIENCE, which has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 721816

Please register by sending email to mdolsek@fgg.uni-lj.si. The deadline for the registration is 10th of June 2019. The deadline for registration for members of the Slovenian Chamber of Engineers is 20th June 2019. The number of places is limited. There is no registration fee.
Who should attend
The courses are intended for graduate students of Engineering (primarily Civil Engineering), postdoctoral researchers and practitioners interested in interested in risk and resilience estimation with the use of different computing environments. Some topics may be interesting for undergraduate students of the 2nd Cycle Study Programmes related to Civil Engineering.
