EuroSDR Educational Service (EduServ) annually offers four two-week e-learning courses in the field of GeoInformation (GI). It is designed for knowledge transfer from the research to the production domain. The 20th series of e-learning courses from EuroSDR will open on February 14-15, 2022, with an online pre-course seminar (due to pandemic situation we had to cancel the physical event in Ljubljana at the Faculty of Civil and geodetic Engineering, University of Ljubljana). During the seminar, the background material of four e-learning EduServ 2022 courses will be presented by the tutors, and the learning platform – Moodle, will be demonstrated.

Two-week e-learning courses are scheduled from February to June 2022:

  • Recent LiDAR Technologies (28 February – 11 March 2022)
  • Working with Volunteered and Crowdsourced Geographic Information (28 March – 8 April 2022)
  • Integration of 3D City Models and BIM: GeoBIM (2 – 12 May 2022)
  • 3D Point Cloud Classification for Mapping Purposes (23 May – 3 June 2022)

EuroSDR (formerly OEEPE) is a pan-European organisation established by International Treaty, as OEEPE, in 1953 in Paris in accordance with a recommendation passed by the Council of the Organisation for European Economic Co-operation. The spatial data research interests of European countries are represented through the membership in EuroSDR of national organisations from their production and research sectors.
