Description:

The RECIPE2024 project is an international IPA ADRION initiative focused on enhancing the resilience and protection of critical entities across the Adriatic-Ionian region. It brings together partners from multiple countries who work jointly to improve preparedness for emergencies, strengthen risk-management capacities, and foster coordinated cross-border cooperation. The project targets key sectors such as energy, transport, healthcare, water supply, communications, and other essential services that ensure the smooth functioning of society. Through research activities, pilot testing, knowledge exchange, and the development of shared protocols, RECIPE2024 aims to create a unified approach to safeguarding critical infrastructure in the ADRION area. The project enhances institutional capabilities, promotes the adoption of innovative tools for vulnerability assessment, and supports the implementation of mechanisms for quicker and more efficient responses to disruptions or crises. Main Goals:

A key objective is to enhance cross-border cooperation, recognizing that many risks transcend national boundaries and require joint, harmonised action. The project also promotes the use of innovative and digital solutions, as well as advanced tools for monitoring, analysing, and managing risks. Through pilot activities implemented in real environments, RECIPE2024 aims to test new approaches and strengthen institutional preparedness for actual challenges.
